The rules for using Nourimi, written as plainly as we can. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Nourimi app and this website. Nourimi is provided by Pauline Gwet, Wexstr. 13, 10715 Berlin, Germany ("we", "us"). Nourimi Care UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is currently being founded and will take over Nourimi once it is registered (see section 13).
You accept these Terms when you create your Nourimi account. Please read them carefully. How we handle your personal data is explained separately in our Privacy Policy.
Nourimi is a general wellbeing app. Based on the life stage you select and the meals you log, it suggests which nutrients to focus on and shows how well your meals fit those general nutrition priorities. It also offers recipes, meal plans, grocery lists and progress insights.
Cycle and symptom tracking on the Flow page is free and stays free. Other features, such as meal scans, scores, nutrient guidance, recipes and meal plans, require a paid subscription.
New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you are charged. Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which handle payment, billing and invoices under their own terms. The current prices are shown in the store before you buy, including VAT, for example €7.99 per month or €29.99 per year.
If your employer or another organization gives you access to Nourimi, these Terms still apply to your use of the app. Your organization pays for your access under a separate agreement with us. It never sees your personal or health data, your meals or your activity. If that access ends, you can keep using Nourimi with your own subscription.
When you use Nourimi, you agree not to:
You keep all rights to the photos and other content you add to Nourimi. You confirm that you have the right to share them.
So that we can provide the app, you give us a non-exclusive, free license to store, process and display your content, only for running Nourimi for you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law. We do not use your photos for advertising, and we do not sell them.
Meal photos are analyzed automatically by AI. Food recognition, portion sizes and nutrient values are estimates and can be inaccurate. You can always edit a meal if something looks wrong.
Nutrient priorities, targets and scores are based on general nutrition guidance, not on your personal medical situation. Nourimi does not take food allergies or intolerances into account, so always check ingredients yourself. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, always follow your doctor’s or midwife’s advice on food safety.
We keep Nourimi working and provide the updates needed to keep it secure and compliant during your subscription. We may also improve or change features. If a change significantly limits a paid feature, we will tell you in advance and you may end your subscription.
We aim to keep Nourimi available at all times, but there may be short interruptions for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control.
The Nourimi app, brand, logo, design, texts, recipes and content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use them only within the app for your personal use.
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee.
For damage caused by slight negligence, we are only liable if we breach an obligation that is essential to providing Nourimi and that you can reasonably rely on. In that case, our liability is limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of service.
Your statutory rights in case of defects of digital products remain unaffected. Because Nourimi offers general information and is not a medical service, decisions about your health remain your own, and we encourage you to make them with a health professional.
You can delete your account at any time in the app. This deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Remember to cancel your subscription in your app store as well.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, after warning you where reasonable. Your right to end a subscription for good cause, and ours, remains unaffected.
We may update these Terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We will tell you about changes at least 30 days before they take effect, in the app or by email. If you do not agree, you can delete your account and end your subscription before the changes take effect. Changes that affect the main features or price of your subscription need your agreement.
We may transfer our contract with you to Nourimi Care UG (haftungsbeschränkt), the company being founded to run Nourimi. We will tell you at least 30 days before the transfer. If you do not agree, you can end your subscription and delete your account at any time.
These Terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If you have a problem, please write to us first: we will do our best to solve it.
These Terms are written in English. If we provide translations, the version in your language applies where your local law requires it.
